I tell you this if they ever fight and mayweather wins quite comfortably, people will have a hard time placing pac ahead of mayweather on the ATG lists.

assuming both fighters will win their respective fights.. and seeing as pac fights more often then floyd..

then pac will always be put ahead of mayweather on the ATG list

If Gayweather can say this with intention, he is greater than Pac :

Floyd Gayweather Sr: "son, just have a bit of control as you might end up giving everything away to the poor"

Fraud Mayneverfight Jr. : "Dad, we won't be able to bring any of these things to heaven. we're just borrowing it re while we're here on earth"

only time will tell. for a lot of big fights never to happen, we can assume a winner.

you know we assume lewis would have beaten bowe and hide.
we can assume leonard would have beaten pryor
we can assume jones would have beaten dariusz.

but this fight is so 50/50 it is unreal. floyd has all the technical skills, all the fundamentals in place. he is so multi dimensional it is easy to forget what his true strengths are.

pac is unconventional, he is orthodox, blistering speed, crazy angles and combos and he is the definition of a form fighter.

i think the fight not happening will hinder both fighters. history will frown upon them both, it will always be "but we never knew who the better fighter was"

Pacquiao can't beat Floyd, if you disagree you're an idiot or a Mike Tyson fan. That being said Pacquiao will go down as the GOAT.

I'm not so sure, I think Mayweather is the better Welterweight but that Pacquiao has acheived more throughout his career.
