If Mayweather beat Cotto, would you leave him alone?

Cotto's an awesome fighter who I think may be the only person to beat Floyd right now at 147. Both are awesome fighters who need to fight and fight soon.

PBF by UD at this point, Mosley has been past it since 04, he really needs to hang it up.

Well it depends on how Mosley looks coming up vs Judah. Hes had a resurgance in his career destroying Vargas twice then a prime quick Luis Collazo and he gave Cotto hell in a tossup fight hes definetally a deserving canidate and I see it happening before Cotto-Mayweather ever happens cause Cotto-Mosley are about the same money wise right now and Mosleys on the downside which is how Mayweather perfers it you notice his fights at Welterweight hes always had something in his favor. Mitchell was like 35 and was brutally stopped by Tszyu in 3 rounds just 1 year before,Judah was coming off a loss,Baldomir is possibly the worst 147 Ring Champion ever and slow as molasses,DLH had fought 6 rounds in the 2 previous years,Hatton coming up in weight that he didnt look good at before. Best chance of Cotto-Mayweather is actually Cotto losing to Margarito or Floyd losing to Oscar and even then hed probablly go for a trilogy or just retire. I hope it happens sometime in 09 but its going to be unlikely and I doubt it. Im usually right about this back in 06 I relized it would be atleast until 2008 until we saw unification in the Heavys I was right.

Dont like it but your probablly right but still we gotta favor PBF over pretty much everyone including Cotto does that mean that shouldnt happen either. If PBF actually fought and beat Cotto and Mosleys still around winning big fights then why not its one of the best guys out there. To me Mosley-Cotto are the best at Welterweight aside from Floyd and there fight proves there very close to each other it ****ing screamed rematch considering how it ended.

I want SSM to retire now, at his peak he would have KO'd Cotto and i would have favored him against PBF but at this moment even Zab has a chance, watching ODLH the other day showed just how quick fighters can slip.

I think Shane Mosley is an excellent fighter. At his prime he was nothing short of amazing. However, due to the recent reports, how do we know his peak wasn't due to steroids. I'm not trying to start anything. It's just a thought I've had since it came out.

I think age has slowed him down he looked good in a losing effort in the rematch with Winky and he was clean.
