and beat Margarito, then say williams-cintron winner,Berto then Cotto and retire undefeated 43-0 winning however many world titles in like 5 different weight divisions, where you would rank him All time?

Remember this is just a" What If " question. Im not saying he's gonna or could do it(so don't jump all over me),It's not completey out of the question, but it would be a tough hill to climb one would say.

Just wondering where that finish would put him in your opinion.

if he beats Hatton, the only fight of any significance left is Cotto and then he should retire if he wins.

Nah, I'd also like to see him fight the winner of Cintron vs Williams. As long as Floyd isn't slowing down and still feel that hunger then he should keep on fighting.

If Williams beats Cintron then he would hold two of the four world titles, and Floyd would hold the other two if he beat Cotto.

If it came to that I would say Floyd couldnt retire if he he had an guy with two titles in his divison he could fight.

    What do you think?

Spot on....Any other fight other than Miguel, and it will not be good enough. To be considered one of the greatest which is what he wants, he will HAVE to fight Cotto.

If ayweather were to clean out the welters like you describe, he'd have to be an all time top ten. Damn it.

That would be very commendable yes...But unfortunately even that is not enough really if he wants to be GOAT,there are no tried and tested atgs around at the moment.... (unless these guys become greats in future.) I dont think floyd would really take all of those fights, and i feel he would lose some of them anyway.....
I would say bottom line, floyd is/was/never will be even close to the GOAT....Whitaker is the best pure boxer of the past twenty years, and floyd cant lick his boots.....
Guys, stop trying to make floyd something he is clearly not, just because he happens to be around in your lifetime......Give thanks we can see better fighters on youtube....:good :thumbsup

No if he beats Hatton, Williams, Margo, Cotto.......after already beating Hoya, Castillo, Corrales, Judah and many others, he has a very good case. It would be near impossible to find someone with a better resume. Also, given the different weightclasses. :deal

theres no reason to fight williams or marg...

yall are talking about fighting all these people like its a video game or something

williams isnt close to a super star yet so why waste the time and fight him just cause (although he is the truth)

marg just lost to williams so he can kiss his chance at floyd good bye

only cotto has a chance and if he fights cotto

    hes done for real!

unless he honestly tries to get it in at middle weight which would be amazing if he could pull it off

but im not knowledgeable enough about boxing to say where he would stand all time

If people are talking top 10, then I have to ask you to remind me what Ali did to be number 1.
