If Mayweather beats Mosley (clearly) who is P4P #1?

ANybody with sense know what he means. He means exactly the same thing your saying. Pac has a better resume, Pac is on fire, Pac has beaten bigger names (and beaten them BETTER than everybody else), He's moved up many weight divisions to even do so, Pac is probably the most famous fighter in boxing currently, he draws a crowd of 51 K, he's entertaining, and he looks unstoppable.
Mayweather on the other hand retired, and then came back to beat Marquez (who only fought as high as 135) at 144, and even then Mayweather weighed 146. He beat a small man, who's not as a great as he was anyways, was superior in every single way, and still didn't even manage to make weight, or KO him!
If he beats Mosley i'll give him credit, but no way he's #1. If Mayweather Obliterates Mosley the way he did Gatti you can bring this thread back up then, and ask me...

Until then none of you have good arguments for Floyd being #1.

 

Pac's claim as #1 p4p has always been shaky at best anyway. Reason he got the top spot was because Floyd "retired" and he got that gift decision over JMM in the rematch. Flip either one of those two around and Pac would only be considered #2 or #3.

Hey, like him or hate him, if Floyd beats the best which is Mosley, then Floyd will be the man at 147. Finally after all these years.

 

I my view Mayweather would have to knock Mosley out to gain no. 1. spot. Previously I said that if Pac suffers with Clottey, but Mayweather manages to beat Shane by a very wide UD, I will change the order. Since Pacquiao handled Clottey a way which Cotto or Margarito could not do, I think May has to stop Mosley. Which won't happen.
