No . Floyd beating Ortiz , is about on the same level as Pac beating Clottey.

Pacquiao only beat Marquez on the scorecards and that was only because of a knockdown . In the eyes of the media Manny Pacquiao has never beaten Marquez.

Not the same as clearly beating your opponent or schooling him.

I always gave credit to Floyd for beating Marquez anyways even though the size did make a difference. And Ortiz might be the #3 WW in the world but I don't consider him very good. Before Ortiz vs Mayweather was made I had already said that Ortiz was not that good and that for example I would expect Pac to KO him within 4 rounds.

I was surprised when Ortiz upset Berto but I still think Berto would beat him in a rematch and that's something I said right after the fight not just cause PBF is fightin him.

So if you give Floyd credit for beating Marquez, not just beating him, emasculating him to the point where Marquez didnt belong in the same ring.

If Pac struggles even just a little bit, does that move Floyd ahead? Especially considering JMM is 2 years older?

Except for one judge, almost nobody had Oscar beating Floyd.

No because first of all styles make fights and second of all the size difference between Pac and JMM is even smaller than the size difference between Floyd and Pac.

If styles make fights then Mayweather is already better then Pacquiao in your opinion?

    Mayweather is getting TKO'd

Pac and JMM will have another trhilling compettive fight and will remain in their respective P4P spots.

    So Pac will remain 1.

Mosley was schooled by Winky Wright so Floyd beat Wright's leftovers, right? And Floyd never schooled Maragarito. He in fact fake retired to avoid Margarito.

Ortiz - 1 win removed from a draw and unranked on the p4p list. Beat Berto who was mostly hype. Doesn't matter if he's a HUNGRY LION.

Marquez - Consistent p4p listed. The fact that he was number 2 at the time Floyd beat him was enough for Floyd to jump back into number 2 and he's already proven that his aggressive counterpunching matches well with Manny. Manny dropped "a few" rounds to Cotto too so I don't see how his biggest rival since his Featherweight days still being able to trouble him is grounds to drop Manny's spot.

You just implied that Pac might struggle with Marquez because of styles. If Pacquiao is struggling against a lightweight who is slower, less skilled, less talented then Mayweather. Wouldnt that make Mayweather the better fighter?

Draw against Peterson was silly. He didnt have a good performance in the 2nd half of the fight. But there is no way Peterson won enough rounds to get a draw.
