Peterson is tricky. Peterson is a true slickster. Very tough fighter to hit clean.

Thats why I think Khan would beat but struggle with Peterson.

Berto is superior offensively but weaker defensively, so as long as Ortiz could take Berto's shots, which he did, he was going to get to Berto eventually.

So Mayweather is nothing but doom for Ortiz. Being tough to hit clean is his calling card. Being a superior practicioner of something Ortiz had a problem with in a fighter not nearly on Floyd's level?

No because Pac-Man performed better against De La Hoya, Hatton and Mosley

And Ortiz is so much better?? Floyd hasn't even been active.

Tell me how Ortiz is better then Margarito, Clottey or Mosley.

Poll Question: If Mayweather performs better against Pacquiao in their next fight, who's number 1?

    Poll Options: Yes or No

I think Pernell Whitaker became the number 1 by dominating the **** out of Julio Cesar Chavez in 1993, despite the laughable official cards. The Ring moved him into Chavez's #1 position on the basis of their fight as far as I know.

:patsch ok so Floyd should have been number one after he beat number 2 p4p Marquez then. If not then beating a number 3 Mosley should be enough

In order to be then man, you have to beat the man. Pacman has not beat the man! So, Mayweahr as of right now is the number 1 guy!

Mayweather has not beat the man either if you're talking p4p rankings.

Look at that, that was 18 years ago and technically Whitaker didn't beat Chavez. The last time before that fight that it happened was in 81 I believe when Leonard beat Hearns. It's rare that there is even the opportunity for it to happen. Unless Pac loses, or wins a highly controversial decions, he should keep his no.1 spot. Let him lose it in the ring.

Actually, despite my passion for Pacquiao and contempt for Mayweather, I disagree. If any p4p#1 consistently performs sub-par as compared to his #2, there should be a switch. The top dog has to perform like it. By 1995/96, most people were placing Roy Jones above Pernell Whitaker because Jones was executing the likes of Toney and Tate while Pea was struggling with Rivera and Vazquez, and I think that's correct. The top man should be performing like it, else he ain't.

Thankfully, I expect Pacquiao to devastate Marquez, so it won't be an issue come November.

*****s loves IF. If this if that if this blah blah blah if floyd beats this if floyd dominates this he'd be P4P number 1 if floyd beats Hearns Leonard Hagler. IF IF IF IF IF IF IF. Why can't you *****s live in a the real world? Floyd will not fight Pac. End thread. :patsch:patsch:patsch
