size difference wont mean ****. Pac stopped oscar and cotto all naturally bigger guys than mayweather.

He was able to hurt these bigger men, so just because pac aint able to hurt or land on floyd has nothing to do with his size, but more to do with his skills.

I think the whole "floyd being too defensive" theory is over rated.... from diaz to cotto... all these guys did was stand around and let pacquiao use them as his personal punching bag... floyd uses head movement, body movement and distance which is something pacquiao hasnt really seen....

pacquiao's best bet is catching floyd on the way in

I'm sure he will be an ATG when it's all said and done but he's gotta take on stiffer opposition between now and then to convince everyone. If he beats Pacquiao in typical Mayweather fashion and retires than I think it could still be up in the air. And needless to say, his critics will never accept him as an ATG until he's really thouroughly tested.

He could definitely become an undisputed top ATG if he really applied himself to tougher opposition. He's fought and beat great fighters don't get me wrong, but he's gotta always be raising the bar for himself.

You're entitled to your opinion. Personally, I believe Floyd is clearly a better fighter than Pacquiao, and it will show in this fight.

So let me get this straight pac aint a test? I get it if mayweather wins pac was never a test. If mayweather loses, pac was the ultimate test.

Just say you want mayweather to lose, jesus this guy cant win.

Mayweather could retire right now and be considered an ATG. Beating Pacquiao is icing on the cake. Unless he moved up to MW, no fighter would be given as good of a chance to beat Mayweather as Pacquiao is right now.

    Agreed.

But Oscar and cotto use their size and power in fights. Floyd will use his size (if he fighting a smaller opponent i.e MARQUEZ) and skill in fights, big difference. Size is one factor that can be overcome, floyd and manny as well as others have proved this a number of times by going up in weight and beating bigger guys.

However if manny loses it will be the skill factor not the size factor that will come into play.

Brutalized? Like make pac look amateurish/lost in the ring
coupled with a knockdown/s? I would be very, very impressed.

Pac's definitely a strong test. I think it's Mayweather's toughest fight yet. Pacquiao has the potential to bash anyone to oblivion at 147. But, Mayweather has the tools and the counterpunching style to make it a long frustrating night for Pacquiao. And in all likelyhood he's gonna do just that. I'd like to see Mayweather win, but not if he's just gonna retire.

I'm just saying that he shouldn't stop at being an ATG because he has the ability to really go above and beyond that.

its funny how people can rate manny so highly yet with give no one any credit of defeating a boxer who is apparently a walking ATG.

It doesn't matter because in the end history will write itself, and haters voices will be mute. When the record books shows mayweather 42-0 legacy 6 time world champion with victories other corrales, castillo, hernadez, Gatti, Judah, Oscar dela hoya, Ricky Hatton, Marquez, Pac, Mosley.

People will say damn that was a good champion.
    Then people

Fraud groupies and even fraud himself are always talking about Pac being stopped twice, knocked down by a jab,Pac is **** etc.

but then these same knuckleheads are the ones that expect the critics to give Fraud all the credit if he beats Pac,when using they're logic if fraud wins he just beat a guy that was koed twice in the past bySingsurat and Torrecampo and knocked down by a Hussein's jab.
