Pac offense can neutralize PBF defense and vise versa. This just boils down to who has the physical advantage to pick the probable winner. Simple as that.

nah not physical advantage but rather boxing IQ...I.E ad******g to the other fighter affectively and who does this quicker.

Dont ge me wrong the reach factor is a nice advantage but this fight is still a very legit fair fight....i mean you cant harp for Floyd to fight Paul Williams where the size disparity is even bigger than Pac and Floyd.

Both PW vs Floyd is just as much a fair fight as Pac vs Floyd.

Considering Pacquiao has brutalized three top WW's at this point, I'd say Mayweather deserves all the respect in the world.

He'd be a top 15-20 ATG to me.

I'd be surprised. Floyd had not done it since Gatti.

I dont know man, i think Pac's boxing IQ is just as good as Floyd's. Its just Floyd uses his IQ more for defense while Pac uses it more for offense.

I agree that Cotto is not as good as Mayweather. But Cotto has so much more power and probably is one of the few boxers who can beat Mayweather... Mosely, Berto, and Williams are some of the others I think can beat PBF, but May won't fight them because they are bigger risks and smaller rewards.

    This ^

Ps. I cant believe, despite the Cotto fight, that Pac fans are already using size as the ready made excuse for when Pac gets beat .... shows the confidence the pacfucs have in their fighter :-(

    But that's where your wrong.

Mayweather's skill is not just his defence it is also his offence. He picks his shots and very rarely wastes them. He is one of the most accurate punchers in the sport as well as being a top counter puncher. These are offensive moves that can be generated from a defensive position.

Like i said Pac and floyd skills are miles apart.

Marquez was knocked down 3 times in 1 round by Pac. He fought on to earn a draw without knocking down pac. What does that tell you, even without watching the fight? Now go and watch the fight again.

But you also frequently lable him as a fraud. The coward label has been attatched to him frequently as well. How can you get credit for beating a fighter who is a fraud and a coward? And how do we know if Floyd is really all that good if he's cherrypicking all of his fights? That is unless he's cherrypicking good fighters. In that case no one should be complaining about any cherrypicking.

its not about confidence or lack of confidence. Its about putting bias aside and analyzing the fight. Who I'm a fan of plays no factor into that. I said size was an issue before Pac vs Cotto, so i don't see why things would be any different now, especially when I had already predicted that Pac would dominate Cotto. Nothing has changed.

LOL I swear people on this site man, never cease to amaze me.
FLoyd beats Pac it shows hes just that damn good period end of story.
Floyd needs to move up? Dude didnt start as a welter, hes been fighting bigger guys his whole career. People just need to get rid of the hate they have for Floyd and just admit dude is a great fighter, he wins you cant deny him.
