No credit...none! Lets be honest cotto is damaged goods. He probably goes late in this fight. Mayweather is the king of building up his opponents, i.e. young hungry lion, and quiet killer. The only saving grace is that this fight is taking place at 154, and cotto is coming off of a tko win.
you mad bro because you got exposed? so are you sticking with your opinion before that cotto's opponent at 154 was not that good? or like the other floyd fans, will have to change their opinion just because floyd is fighting him next?
Thats whats expected. Don't think there will be excuses. If mayweather doesn't beat him easily is where the talking points should be
"Cotto was not a true 154 pounder." "Mayweather had all the advantages going in." "Mayweather only fights guys he knows he can beat." (< my personal fav) "Margarito and Pacquiao already ended him." "He cheats by using Xylocaine."
Cotto is not head-case Ortiz...or Baldomir...or quitter Judah...a midget Hatton/Marquez, or that coked-up cross-dresser De La Hoya. Deal.
or this one where his opposition at 154 is **** that's why hcotto ain't **** at LMW? http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=375738&page=4
puga seriously, you're having a go at floyd for fighting cotto when all you *******s were fine with cotto rematching pacman at 147!!!!!!! ridiculous double standards, ridiculous.
sorry, if pac fights cotto again (regardless of weight) you guys would be palying the shot and damaged goods card once again. but since floyd is fighting him now, cotto suddenly is prime, unshot and repaired goods. and i am only using your own terms for cotto way before you guys have known that floyd would fight him next.
It is true in my opinion. I am saying that others will be contradicting themselves. I've long said Cotto is not the rightful #1 at 154 lbs, I believe that used to be Dzinziruk, and due to inactivity, it is now Alvarez. It is a division stacked with talent but shallow in resume.
Who cares what Pac did, didn't do, coulda done, shoulda done. He's not in this fight. May is May, and anyone fighting him needs to bring their A game, I doubt cotto will make excuses if he loses, he never does. And yes I said if, because last I checked, the fight hasn't happened yet, the more important question to me is this, if May were to lose, or if it's a draw, or an extremely close fight, what will be the excuses then? Because regardless of whom is better than whom, it's still boxing, and anything can happen on fight night.
Pac's legacy is on fighting the same guys 2 or 3 times or beating the bigger guys that Floyd had beaten 18 months prior. That is why no one wanted to see him face Cotto. He already beat him. And it's clear he is no longer a 147 fighter.
