If Mayweather could have made 122 or 126 how would a fight with Morales have went?

Prime 126 Morales had slowed somewhat & I fancy Floyd by close decision.

Prime Morales at 122 was the **** & his attributes would trouble Mayweather as much as anyone IMO (assuming FMJ is also a legit 122 lb fighter), Erik would be in his face all night but in a technical way, switching from patient boxer to all out war, that would unsettle Floyd, FMJ is one of the ATGs too & would give EM all sorts of problems aswell, it would be a great technical fight & really its 50/50.

Ps. I voted `Morales by dec` thru favouritism as I find this one hard to call & there is no `draw` option.... the only thing Im sure of is that someone is gonna win a close dec or possibly even a draw.

EM fan here. :good in a prime morales, pbf would have met someone who can seriously hurt him and get into his head also. EM was one technical fighter, not the fastest in terms of speed but one tough cookie.

 

This is purely up to our imagination so there's no way to speculate how floyd would be at these lower weight divisions. How can we judge this fight when he's never fought down there? It would be a close fight, that's all i can say.

 

Well, if you can take Mayweather & put him at any weight class & have him still be able to fight at his peak, he'll beat basically anybody.

 

well if floyd fought at 122, would he be faster, would he have better footwork...a 122 lb floyd would be a different fighter.

i think we should look at what zahir rahim did to morales at 135

i can SPECULATE that a 122 lb floyd is capable of the same...

Morales is no match for Floyd at any weight. I expect AM and PAc fans not to keep it real because of their dislike for Floyd. This is how the fight would go right up until Floyd wins by 7th round stoppage...:vonnecunt

 

Assuming Floyd isn't dead at the weight, he does a number on Morales.

Morales has never had the best defense. PBF would get at Morales by UD

 

He would have been too drained and would have lost the fight.

 

Morales by UD. Floyd would run all night and Morales would chase him all night. Floyd would get some nice shots in but Erik would connect just as well. That and the fact Erik has balls of steel and heart to match. His hunger would make him the winner. I miss watching this guy. Never backed down!!!
