How the hell can you say Floyd ducked Mosley. See most people didn't watch boxing in the 90s on here. You can tell they just spew **** they heard from Arum or other idiots. Mosley was in the top pound for pound list along with Roy Jones, Trinidad, Lewis etc when Floyd was coming up. Floyd entered into that list as well and was calling out Oscar and Mosley and Mosley turned him down several times. In fact he turned Floyd down to face Oscar which he should have done.

Arum himself stated why the Cotto and Margo fights didnt happen. Explained that Floyd would have fought Margo and Cotto but Floyd wanted guaranteed money for Hatton and Oscar.

There's actually videos on youtube showing us that he was calling mosley and oscar out, mosley's excuse for not fighting him was that he had a toothache.....

I think Margarito would have given him problems, he got lucky with his timing aswell, I mean does anybody seriously think a 5 years younger DLH doesn't beat him? He got the nod over Castillo in a fight most thought he lost. Most all time greats like Floyd have a defining fight that they go into being an underdog, or having the cards against them, he never did that, he could have challenged Martinez, he could have fought a red hot Pac in 2009/10, he could have fought a nightmare in Paul Williams.

It's easy to pick holes though, you can do it with any fighter, Mayweather is the greatest defensive fighter of all time, and a top 30 all time great. My only real gripe with him in the ring is his unwillingness to engage and actually give the fans a fight when he is cruising, he has NEVER stopped a great fighter, what other legends can you say that about?

Yes. I don't think their fight in 2007 was particularly close. I had it 9-3. And prime for prime oscar doesn't have the 15 lb weight advantage he had in 2007 fighting a guy who was barely a WW at JMW.

floyd is older than cotto, why are we talking about primes when floyd's best years were at 130. prime is no excuse because floyd was past his prime in all of those fights

If Mayweather fought a prime Josie Harris and the other women he beat up, and it wasn't if front of their kids, do you think they could have won?

he may just have 43-1 then retired for good. no one knows how he handles being manhandled. he complains a lot when getting roughed.

If Oscar was smaller and lighter Floyd would off just beaten him easier. It's the weight advantage that kept Oscar in the fight in 2007! You don't know **** about boxing!

And he solidified it when he brought Margo in the discussion.
