If Mayweather doesn't fight Pacquiao he'll be making a great mistake.

    He's one, but you aren't?

You and Bald_dick_slick have filled the NALLEGE verbal diarrhea gap quite nicely.

Pac made 15M off Clottey 22M off Cotto. Floyd made about 26M with Mosley not 40M.

so answer my questiuoin was it or wasnt it pacman who walked away from the first fight

are you lips and hands shaking. or can you say it. i dare you

floyd is maing this demands because he like everyone else wants the upperhand in negotiations and he dnt want to be dictated to.

just like pacman doesnt, he almost stopped the hatton fight happening because of his demands.

the blood tests were from the get go so pac knew already that he would have to take them:bbb

no it was clear from the beginning that it was floyd's demands couple with his father's accusation that has made the negotiations shaky from the start. pacquiao accepted the blood test then but does not agree on floyd's olympic style testing. the fight did not happene because floyd stopped on 14 days cut-off while pac maintained his 24-days cut off position. now that pac accepted his terms of 14 days (and some news said he is alright with no cut-off) there is no way floyd could dodge pacquiao now and not be labeled a ducker.

If Pacq doesn't fight Mayweather, his skill will be questioned. If he never fights an African-American,his resume takes more and more hits over time.He has to face that music during his career or face it after it.Arguello,,Duran,ODL and JCC had their biggest fights against African-Americans,there are no excuses, great fighters fight African-Americans.

If Mayweather doesn't fight Pacq,he doesn't really take much of a hit, particularly if he faces PWilliams or S.Martinez or both, who are considered bigger threats than Pacquiao. At worst he would be remembered for his skill and business acumen, which would be fine by him.

Also,Floyd is making inroads into the hard to penetrate black community,(believe it or not, boxing isn't that big in the commmunity)with an album on the horizon with 50 cent and a well known beef with Rick Ross, which Ross recently squashed with Floyd, which will probably be re-opened if an album with 50 is really due out in November.Floyd will be just fine,he is becoming bigger and more relevent in the community he needs to remember him,and the community that has produced 85% of boxings greatest fighters.

You could argue that these fighters don't need each other very much at all. They just need to finish their careers strong with acceptable opponents who are a threat.(Pacq/Clottey & Floyd/Shane proves that)In reality, boxing needs both of these men fighting, more than these men need to fight each other.

However,I believe this fight will happen and both of their resumes will get a big check on it regardless of who wins, especially if the fight lives up to even half of the hype.

Floyd made 40.Don't get butt hurt about it.

Pacq's 15M was cut in half by Arums 27% off the top and GBP's 13% off the top.15 turns into 8.Taxes then turn that 8 into 4.Roach turns that 4 into 3.

Do the same to that 22M.Even though he was guaranteed only 7M for the Cotto fight,I won't argue. The numbers get chewed pretty badly even if he makes 40 million guaranteed. He would lose nearly half off of the top to promoters,20M,then lose nearly half to taxes,10M.

He has a bad deal and doesn't wash it like Floyd.Who had tax trouble because his money is all but literally tied up in stocks and bonds and other untaxed or little taxed investments before he gets it back untaxed.Floyd pays his team OK but not much and is his own promoter only co-promoting with Oscar.Floyd is playing keep away with Uncle Sam like most rich people and is keeping as much as 75-80% of his gross.

Tell pacq to step is game up.

I like how everyone thinks they know pacs game as a come forward fighter and floyd will disect him easily. In the last few years there have only been a few fights that he comes forward like ODLH(when he knew he couldn't handle his speed). hatton came forward against him and got knocked out. Cotto came forward against him and got knocked down twice only when cotto was hurt did pack come forward and stalk the rest of the fight. He was a come forward(if you can call it that because his footwork is sick) against Clottey because Clottey was a turtle in his shell the whole fight. Remember folks pacman is not a come foward fighter like ricky hatton, his skills are on a whole new level and that is why floyd is afraid to fight him because he is not 100% confident he can win.
