Why would you want to rush him off of the stage?????

It took him years and a lot of hardwork to get to where he's at, he still wants to fight, he's still p4p #1, he's still willing to take the best that is available in his division...let him wait out Mayweather.

That is my point. People are buying the fights because they see Manny Pacquaio on the bill. The opponent doesn't matter, but if its someone they have heard of...that might make a difference.

Clottey sold, Margarito sold...nobody wanted to see that ****, but it sold.

Put a name up there of someone he has a history of tough fights with, and Joe Public will say:

"Oh really? I didn't realize he ever had competition. I thought he was the Chuck Norris of Boxing and came out of the womb whipping ass. I'd pay to see a fight he might actually lose."

Plus, there is a chance they have heard of JMM. He is a popular fighter, not just for boxing fans, but for casual fans and especially Mexicans. He's been on 24/7, he's been in big fights, he's credible, etc.

Mosley has a lot of those same things going for him, but I don't know if he's got as big a fan base as Marquez. I guess its possible though...and Mosley has also been in the spotlight, on 24/7, etc...

    The differences are: .

    1. Mosley has no chance of winning based on his past few performances.

    2. Marquez has a small chance of winning...maybe...but he will fight his ass of trying. I see Mosley just getting KO'ed.

    3. Just sayin...

If you read the rest of my thread, you'll know i meant in favor of Pacquiao. I have already said Pacquiao vs Mosley is a mismatch in Pacquiao favor.

Berto would knock out Pacroid. Pacroid have never fought a bad ass black brother with speed and power.

If Collazo who is not a big puncher can stunned Berto, imagine what Pacquiao power can do to Berto? And who has Berto beat to make you think he will ko Pacquiao?

If Floyd won't fight Pac, Floyd too should just retire.

But at the same time, if Floyd doesn't want to fight Pac, why should pac NOT be able fight anyone? Pac cannot force Joy Boy into the ring.

And while I want that fight more than any other, i'm not going to penalize one fighter for another's resistance to fight the best.

Apart from Floyd there is no one else until some other fighters improve. So to avoid the criticism he could retire. But theres the small matter of $20+ million a fight.

It's simple cause who's out there at ww that can give Pacquiao a real and i mean a REAL tough fight not name Mayweather? Berto? Mosley? Bradley vs Alexander winner ? (Which will have to fight Pacquiao at the ww limit) Marquez? (At ww limit if he wants to fight Pacquiao)

if a guy still wants to earn a living, why force him to stop? so if floyd suddenly has the urge to fight pac and pac beats floyd, he should retire immediately since there's no other challenge for him? i sort of agree form the standpoint of legacy but if the guy still wants to earn some dollars, it's his choice.

So the solution is to hope that the best P4P fighter retire? LOL

You guys need to get over your internet drama, people just want to see him fight and if the worst that he could is Mosley then big effing deal.
