Of course even if he fights them and he loses to one of them and wins against the others he is top30 ATG for me. It depends also when is he going to fight them. He must fight them now when they are strong.

Top 50 maybe if he beats all those guys and Williams. Cotto is showing signs of decline I've thought for some time and would have been a great fight a couple of years ago, SSM despite beating the hell out of Margarito is old and at a huge style and speed disadvantage (Margo made him look better than he is at this stage in his career and Im a HUGE SSM fan!), Pacman he'd whip imo as he's just as quick and too smart to let him get into range to unleash. As for Williams... hmm, that would actually impress the hell out of me if he stepped into the ring with the rangey southpaw and would almost be remenicent of SRL jumping up weight to take on Hagler... but that would never happen, if it did I see Mayweather being outworked while making Paul look clumsy at times, but dropping an wide UD. Williams is tall, rangey, 2 fisted, young and hungry, but more importantly he's also fast of hand and foot, so Mayweather would have to fight. It wont ever happen, sadly Floyd is content knowing he has one of the best skill sets in history but wont actually test how far they could take him and this is why he'll never get the credit he may deserve, because upto now he's beaten everyone he's faced... but then he was expected to.

people really seem to have so much for this kid paul williams. love to say he's most feard. paul owes to whoever started that ball rolling.
i get it he's built like nobody since tommy the hit man. he throws a ton of punches. he used to fight welter. lotta people are holding out that he will return. please don't hold your breath cause that ain't happening. he has a loss, avenged. hold on he's signed to fight kelley pavlik. so why do i have to spend all this time talking about a guy who isn't a welter and is about to lose his second. as a possible for floyd.
hate to tell anyone to let go of a dream so i won't.
as for the rest of those dreams youre talking about in this thread, you don't need to have so many. the division is shakin itself out.

We will see how much if at all Cotto has declined in November...and yeah it would have been better to watch Mosley-Mayweather fight like 5 years ago but Mosley still has a good chance. At 154 I think Williams outworks Mayweather on decision...but if Williams tries for 147 he'll be weight drained no matter what he sais

He could make 154 and Floyd was happy to go upto 154 to fight a WELL over the hill Delahoya, but people would like to see Mayweather fight someone that he's not automatically expected to beat, thats what makes a great fighter. He's great already, but we dont know how great because he wont take a real challenge, he beats people he is expected to beat but not only that seems to like to stack the deck in his favour. How's that compare to the likes of Ali, SRL, SRR, Fitzy and having only fought 40 safety first fights? It doesn't basically.

He got beat by Castillo at lightweight. But if he were to beat these mentioned fighters, he would get top 10 for sure.
