Ok so Roach, Pac and Arum are using the excuse that Floyd never wanted the fight in the first place and used the blood testing as a way to get out....So does it make sense for Floyd to fight a more dangerous opponent in Mosley for not even half the money? Doesnt make any cents or sense. So really, who didnt want the fight?
Mayweather. He doesn't have any other choice BUT to face a 38 year old guy who hasn't fought in a year.
Forget the Mosley fight ever got made. Let's just look at the accusation that Mayweather used the blood testing to get out of the fight. The blood testing was originally agreed to by team Pac. It wasn't until 10 or 11 days after the blood testing was announced that team Pac complained. Now if you're Mayweather and you want to use the blood testing to get out of the fight, and Pacquiao complains a full 10 days after the blood testing is announced, wouldn't you just hold firm on your positions? At this point, Pac already looks bad. You get out of the fight and you still look pretty good from a PR standpoint. But that's not what happened. Team Pac said they didn't want to use the USADA and team Mayweather agreed to use a different agency. Team Pac said they didn't want to be tested within a couple of days of the fight, and team Mayweather offered a 14 day window. Both guys are to blame, but if Mayweather wanted to use the blood testing to get out of the fight, he would've never made any concessions in regards to the testing.
Yeah, something is not right here. There are too many flaws in Mannys excuses. Pac said he took out blood in the Morales fight but that was a couple of days before the fight...Floyd gives him 14 days, thats two weeks! Why wont Pac agree to 14 days?
Mayweather/Pacquiao never got this far. Mayweather and Mosely are done negotiating. The lawyers are just finalizing the contracts right now. Anything can happen, but this fight is much further along than Mayweather/Pacquiao and that fight was pretty far along.
Please...Mayweather-Pacquiao was basically a "go"...it was announced on ESPN, ESPN2, in newspapers...everywhere, really. Last minute **** is what KO'd that fight.
I'm just telling you this fight is much further along. Even during the Mayweather/Pacquiao debacle, they never agreed to all points. They've agreed to everything here and have turned it over to the lawyers. That never happened with Mayweather and Pacquiao. Anyway, you're welcome to believe whatever you want.
well the mosley fight will happen (i hope) because of circumstances and was basically floyd against the wall. maybe, pac fighting a legit threat in WW like clottey could have forced floyd into considering mosley this time around but other than this, i don't see any relevance of floyd now signing to fight shane to the supposed pac fight. floyd is as much as responsible for not want to fight pac in the first place because of demanding these blood test, when he said that pac is an easy fight before. well you can say pac should have accepted 14 days and get the $40M but floyd could also easily accepted 24days and get the $40M. bottomline is, both seems to never want the fight at this time.
All Manny had to do is submit a simple blood test and the fight would have been on. But of course that didn't happen. Instead we got ridiculous conspiracy theories from Manny's camp, ******ed excuses, and cop outs. Manny and his Jewish gangster have nobody to blame but themselves.
Was either Mosley or Williams for Floyd. He painted himself into a corner...but all that doesn't matter anymore. This is a great fight to be made.
