You think? (not concerning the personality or the looks)

But this whole Mayweather Pacquiao saga has drawn in the casual fan...I wouldn't say De La Hoya Mayweather did, from what I witnessed anyway.

There will come a point were the majority loses their interest in this bout...that is the only thing that makes me think this bout will not eventually break the PPV numbers record.

Yup, the general public type of people I spoke with already think this fight won't ever happen.

    2.8m US.

I reckon Sky would put it on PPV too and sell near a million.

It's getting to that point with my friends now. This is the first bout they have ever taken any notice of...and it may not happen...

I like your avatar. Floyd slips emmanuel's left and lands his own right to the liver.:thumbsup

    :D

Was just messing around with paint...I'll try and do some better ones at some point.

And at least you noticed Pacquiao in that picture...I had someone call me a 'Pacquiao hater' yesterday because I had a "Mayweather avatar". :patsch

It's all ready starting to lose steam. It would have crushed last year. Now I'll call about 2.75, but the number will go down the longer it takes. I hope floyd can get his life together soon cause by the end of next year this will be REALLY old news.

From somebody who was still a casual fan at the time of Mayweather-De La Hoya, I'd seen it advertised, heard of De La Hoya before but not Mayweather, it gripped me a little bit to the extent that I once made a comment and prediction about it to a mate [pretending I knew what I was saying, I'd pretty much stolen somebody online's great analysis of 'Oscar is old and Floyd has too much speed']

But I never felt compelled to buy it or even watch it until I became a hardcore fan of the sport. I wouldn't say it was as gripping as Mayweather-Pacquiao should be to the average fan. I think this breaks the record.

At the time of De La Hoya Mayweather...no one I knew was interested in it at all, like you said, they may have heard about the bout, but would never pay to see it.

Great analysis by the way. :good Did you feel the need to thank the guy after-wards? :D
