If Mayweather fought and beat Martinez at 150, they would say Martinez was drained!

If Pacquiao beat him at 150, they would say he's the GOAT. It might not be like that but it just might work that way.

Essentially it's a lose-lose situation for Floyd in how he has the habit of waiting long perioids to fight an opponent.

he often makes it hard for himself by not taking the fight at the right moment.

He does himself no favors at all. Which is a shame because i think he could beat Martinez.

If' it's at 153 they will say he's drained. Even 154 where Martinez was, and perhaps might still be accustomed to.

 

For Martinez 150 is a weight drain. So it would be a pointless win.

If it was Pacquiao they would say it was a legitimate win.

There's always been corruption in boxing. There's just smarter ways to make fights now than back in other eras. Today you have all these fancy supplements, and undetectable peds,...etc...

There was performance enhancers back then. And they were far less complex chemically as the one's today. The corruption back then generally centered in other areas like match fixing, intimidation, rigged/paid off judges,...etc... rather than the modern day corruption we witness now.
