Would it look similar to Guzman v. Soto, or would Margarito have more success pressuring PBF???

I was actually thinking the same thing but Floyd would not of gotten hit as much and would of not kept against the ropes. He would keep Margarito in the center of the ring where he is nothing to worry about.

I was about to say the same thing, I think it would look almost the same as Soto-Guzman.

Mayweather wouldnt lose a round to Margarito. Hes WAY too slow to have the slightest chance in catching Mayweather clean, he has a good chin, but he'll lose a shutout IMO.

Mayweather wouldn't have BS'd and showboated and would have won a wider decision.

It would be a shut out in the vein of Mayweather/Baldomir with Floyd thoroughly outboxing a guy whom he can't put away. In the aftermath, Mayweather would probably take just as much **** as he for beating Baldomir.

True. Margarito is a wide telegraphed puncher with **** poor movement and legs. If Margarito has to use his legs he would be open to counters and not be able to plant his feet and get those clubbing shots off. I do agree that floyd could not stay on the ropes b/c margarito throws wide punches outside of the visual range. And they would hurt even if landed on the shoulders or elbows.

Jabs to the mid-section, straight right-hand leads, plenty of lateral movement and staying off the ropes would do it for PBF against Margo.

Well let's see. Mayweather and Guzman are about equally slick. You could probably say Floyd was slicker. Soto is about 10x more skilled, active, and powerful (for his weight) than Margarito. It would look like a much more one-sided version of Guzman-Soto. Tony would not win one round, let alone two - not would he make any round as competitive as Humberto was able to make several.

why not? he's a cocky son of a *****, and margarito's nothing to worry about unless he can sustain an attack to your body, which is not even feasible for him to do against floyd. i very easily see him showboating quite a bit.

I agree with some of the comparisons Guzman is a poor mans PBF. PBF would make Margo miss more than Guzman did to Soto and beat Margo by wide UD. Margo isn't as good as Soto and he can't cut off a ring to save his life.
