I really doubt he does fight Pac the same way he fought Cotto, BUT if he did... Would Mayweather have been so lucky to come out with just a bloody nose?
Pac being southpaw, having much faster hands than Cotto, having more power than Cotto (guess that's somewhat debatable, but Pac's speed is his power), having more endurance than Cotto, and the lists goes on and on.
Can Mayweather *STAND* with Pac like that? I don't think so.... BUt of course this thread could be pointless because he won't be willing to do that. I think the only way he does is IF HE HAS TO because he can no longer move that well.
I honestly don't think he can, or else he wouldn't have left the fight with a bloody nose, and definitely wouldn't have stood there while it's oozing blood the whole time. Cotto has slow hands, and Floyd can see them coming, but Cotto still connected A LOT. I was thinking.. If this were Pac, Floyd would be spitting out teeth.

If Floyd fought the same way against emmanuel, emmanuel would have lost worse than Cotto(e) did. emmanuel can't fight inside

  3. Floyd stands and trades with Pac, Floyd gets knocked out.

Cotto fights a much better inside game than Pacquiao does.

Pac can't fight on the inside, but Mayweather was against the ropes... Unless he let's Mayweather clinch him constantly (and looked how that worked for Ricky Hatton) then he could fight at whatever distance he seen fit.
but yeah I agree with Pac not being able to inside fight. Guy is a hell of a fighter, but can't understand why he can't. He of course can't cut off the ring either. This is how Mayweather can get the W

Floyd gets ktfo. And i think at this point in time, Floyd doesn't have the legs to box and move for 12 rounds. So it would be a war.

You are talking about a different thing, you are talking about inside fighting not against the ropes, Pacquiao is vicious once his opponent is staying on the ropes. If Floyd stay in the ropes a lot versus Pacquiao, he will get punished..

  11. What do you mean you can't understand why? It's not his style. Just like no one out there fights like Pac. Pac's style is to attack aggressively, but get out immediately after. Cutting off the ring prohibits this style from being as effective.

With 10 oz gloves there would be no knockouts. Pac hit Margarito a bajillion times and could barely budge him.

  13. Margarito's an iron chinned warrior and he also came into the fight at 165 pounds. Not to mention Pac took his foot off of the gas in the 11th and 12th. Good thing he did, because what Pac feared, became a reality with Margarito's eye being permanently ****ed up.

Floyd would be dumb to lay on the ropes with Pacquiao for long
