I'm starting to feel that Mayweather is dismissing the Cotto fight as another Ortiz fight.
This isn't based on the Gayweather nuthugger's rhetoric, but from comments made from his trainer in Roger and Floyd himself.

Will Mayweather be physically prepared and in condition come fight night?
    Most likely yes.

However, I think mentally he will get blindsided when he is in the ring with a well prepared and conditioned Cotto with an actual viable gameplan.

Floyd has entered an agreement to face Canelo after the Cotto fight...
I think it will be a long night for Floyd and more surprising than pleasant!!!

Floyd isn't looking past Cotto for Canelo

I'm still waiting for him to fight Spadafora and Khan since they said Floyd agreed to fight them too

When I see an official avatar bet thread....I'll sign on...there's more accountability there!!!

I have no problem with an avatar bet.....Gayweather will go down KO in
    the 9th !!!!

    You're kidding, right?

First: What Roger actually said was their preparation isn't going to differ from that of the Ortiz fight and if you paid attention, you'll remember that Floyd himself said it was a really tough and thorough camp.

Second: All Mayweather has to look forward too after the Cotto fight is jail. I seriously doubt he's thinking about Alvarez.

Lastly, Alvarez admitted that he wasn't interested in being on an undercard unless there was some incentive. Hence the "VERBAL" agreement to fight. You should know how those usually go.

    Stop grasping for straws. :nono

Floyd will come into the fight in shape...not saying he will train halfheartedly....just saying he appears to be taking this fight for
granted as if it is a done deal !!!

it defends on how long GBP would protect their future prospect superstar.

floyd would not take cotto for granted. he knows what cotto brings to the table.floyd is always disciplined in training.

There's a thread made like this before every big fight, people are just clutching at straws at a chance of the underdog actually winning.

I don't even believe Floyd will do any jail time....he's been playing his
"get out of jail" card with his recent charitable donations and politics.

He mostlikely will do some community service!!!

" grasping for straws"? I have ZERO worries with this matchup....I think Cotto will KO Floyd !!!
Just hope you aren't near any bridges after this fight!!!

Where in the world are you getting this nonsense. Mayweather has already said Cotto is a great champ and respected fighter. The closest he's gotten to completely "overlooking" an opponent was Gatti.

Unless you hear him talking like this about Cotto, you have no basis for what you're saying. :nono

That's your "opinion" on his serving jail-time and nothing more. You know what the say about opinions. Moving on....

What I mean by "grasping at straws" is the fact that you're making up scenarios in which Floyd Mayweather is taking Cotto lightly.

You're flat out lying to try and prove a point that doesn't need to be proven.

You're wearing you're heart on your sleeve with this one. Be easy.

These two guys have been around each other their entire careers. They know each other very well. I highly doubt Mayweather overlooks Cotto.
