it's not mayweather who liked his chances against pac, it's his fans only..but mayweather's fans can't realize that money does not care about them.

He like his chances against Hatton but he did not make him take test. Same with Marquez.

Maybe he watched a documentary about PEDs after the marquez fight and thought that he should make his opponents take em :rasta

    This is just good logic.

When he announced his comeback hijacking the Pac-Hatton fight, knowing fans would be calling for the winner to fight him, I thought he might've wanted it back then.

However after he saw Pac destroy Hatton and Cotto like they were nothing, Mayweather went into chicken**** mode and when he does that, history suggests we ain't ever seeing the fight.

Pac punk ass should of took the drug test the first time around if he really WANTED the FIGHT. He should also take the test now, but chances are his ass is going to continue to let his master Bob Arum do the talking and lying for him.

Well he has to now. By saying that he wants Pac to test so that they can clean up the sport, he has to hold every future opponent to that same standard. If he doesn't, the entire testing stipulation gets proven to be nothing more then a method of ducking Pac.

Floyd Mayweather will sign for any fight just so long as he is 100% convinced he will win and the money is right. Pacquiao is by far the biggest money fight out there. I'm not saying the Filipino would win, but there is doubt in Floyd's mind otherwise, as the OP says, the fight would have happened already. It's all pretty obvious, really.

Like a promoter/businessman, Floyd operates on getting the most money for the least risk.

Marquez jumping two weight classes posed less risk than Pacquiao, so he made the Marquez fight.

38 year old Shane Mosley posed less risk, so he made that fight.

Victor Ortiz posed less risk, so he made that fight.

It's the way Floyd has operated for years, and the way he always will. He won't fight anyone unless he thinks he has an edge on them, and if there is a choice between a somewhat risky fight with a big reward or a safe fight with a moderate reward, he'll go for the safe fight every time, and screw what the fans think or want.

That's not good boxing, and never has been.

Or he simply believe this current Pacquaio has all the tools to beat him.

It is psychology. Floyd wants to believe that Pacquaio is on PEDS, because he can not understand, or perhaps, accept that someone is better than him. So, when he saw this Pacquaio destroying the likes of Hatton, Cotto and Margarito rather easily, his defense mechanism is to attribute it to something not normal, like, the PEDs accusation. Hence, the request for random drug testing.

Deep in his heart, Floyd Mayweather, Jr knows there is someone who can steal his precious O. He just does not want to admit it in public and give Pacquaio his due.

    OR

If Pac liked his chances against Mayweather the fight would have happened.

You can flip it either way. They are both responsible for this fight not happening yet. And if you believe otherwise its because your a testicle-sucking fanboy.
