If Mayweather liked his chances against Pac the fight would have happened.

You are amazing. Then again you are a floydette so it's not really surprising that you can't see floyd do anything wrong. Besides, one cannot be a floydette if one uses logic.

I don't think Pac will take a dive for any amount of money!

He tested Marquez for **** not PEDS . . . lol.

Lets be real here, i am a big fan of both guys and what is standing in the way of this fight are egos . . . Manny, Money and Arum. all sides want to dictate to the other how things should go, and do not forget that there is no love loss between Arum and PBF. As a fan of boxing I think this fight must happen, but as a fan of both I kinda don't want it to happen.

the only good thing about these threads is that it keeps the klitlickers down to one or two threads on the front page . . . lets keep the "debate" . . . i mean name calling going you ****ing *****s and *******s! lol

Indeed, could substitute the names of Cotto, Margarito or Paul Williams in there aswell but Floyd decided to "go on vacation" at the time rather than face them....

had Pac held back on Hatton and Cotto and not knocked them out, just edged out a close decision, Pac and Floyd would have fought already in 2010

I think people are missing the picture. Mayweather has been confident all along that he could beat Pac. He wants that fight to be his last fight. Pac will fight Money at the first oppertunity but Money has his own timetable and hes not gonna let anyone change it. He is in control. Thats only my opinion.

my opinion is that floyd came out of retirement to fight pac that was supposed to lose to hatton and/or cotto.

I've said this repeatedly over the last few years. Mayweather sees something in Pac that concerns him. I don't know, maybe it's that he legitimately thinks Pac is on some ****, or maybe there is something about Pac's style, hell, maybe he is just worried about being jobbed by the judges like Jones was regarding a Michalczewski fight. I don't know, but I am 100% certain that FMJ has some reservations about fighting the man. We'll know for sure after the JMM fight. I'll hold off further judgement until then.

Of course, it is possible that the whole thing is vice-versa, that Pac is the one with the reservations, but definitely wouldn't bet on it.

I agree with you on that. A razor thin fight that leans more towards FMJ will most likely go to Pacquaio. Still, is the fear of that happening enough reason to not to want to fight someone? All that tells me is that Floyd knows he'd be in for a tough one against Manny.

I tend to agree with that, I think he wasnt sure if he could deal with the power of Pac, not the fighting skills of Pac. Thats why he fought Mosley and Ortiz the way he did. I still think Pac is last because he wants to brutalize Pac and leave it at that. I think JMM might steal his thunder tho.:bbb:bbb
