now i know arum said it and i cant remember the last time he ever said anything truefully but i was wondering mayweather would surely know the hell he would get for taking a fight with someone so long past it up at a ridiculous weight but what if morales's money troubles are real and this fight did happen to give him a massive payday and mayweather is just willing to take on the criticsm since anything he does gets criticised anyway? like i said very unlikely its just that this subject got me wondering
this isnt a fanboy thing at all im just serious that bob arum like alot of other promoters lies pretty much all the time also in this whole thing i am more of a morales fan than a mayweather fan its just an honest theory on why a ridiculous match up might actually happen
how about onc ein a while instead of jumping on the fanboy train you actually try and have a conversation about oh lets say boxing
you know it was reported that eric gomez said it first right??...and you do know or have read who eric gomez is, yes???
Very very unlikely like you said.. And if it came out to be true, it wouldn't be a good enough excuse even for HIS fans. Not just those who already criticize anything he does. He should not fight Morales. You seriously expect that?
Not possible for lance. He lives for his fanboy crusade. He likes to act like he is some unbiased boxing fan but in reality he's no different from the fanatics he supposedly tries to call out for there bull****. And this Morales/Mayweather fight would never happen. This is no different than when word got out that Floyd supposedly was trying to fight Ricky's little brother. It was put out there by Top Rank and Floyd's camp shot it down as a complete false statement the minute they were asked about it. Same ****, different day. Here is a good question. If Morales called out Floyd and Floyd ignored him, does that mean Floyd is ducking?
Mayweather would be a fool for taking this. Pretty much pisses his legacy down the drain. Fans will look back and see he didn't fight the most established and accomplished champions at welter, the weight he's been at since he became a megastar and could pick and choose his own fights, and around the time he began claiming he was greatest fighter of all-time. But he could fight 5 guys (out of his 8 welter opponents if he was to fight Morales) who were coming up in weight or off just one fight at the weight? Is that something the greatest fighter of all-time would do? That won't be fooling anybody, especially as welter presented so many great fights he could've made in that period.
yes i agree it would make floyd bad but my point would be would he care if he knows he gave a fellow legend a big payday to walk out of boxing with and the fact he will get **** whoever his next opponent is if it isnt pac and i think a line has to be drawn on what ducking is i mean saying he ducked morales would be like saying pacquiao ducked malignaggi or morales ducked anthony crolla since hes cancelled 2 fights with him already or like when tszyu said he would make a comeback if it was against either pac or mayweather there has to be lines from good reaosn or ridiculous lol
I think he would care. At this point I think it's important for both sides to try and blame the other (Pac & Floyd) on why the fight didn't happen if it doesn't next. And Floyd accepting the Morales fight on May 5th would appear he didn't want to face Pac and already planned the Morales fight, even if it wasn't the situation. Best for him to avoid that fight completely, even if Pac signs to fight someone else before Floyd IMO.
HUGELY different from the fanatics ******. I don't need to lie or make **** up. And please, it's no secret you hate me too. You're an irrational fanboy FFS. atsch It was put out there by Morales you ****. You little ***boys just need TopRank to blame for everything. And to answer, if Morales calls out Floyd, NO, it's not a duck. No one in their right mind see this as competative. Stupid question.
