Floyd is way better on the inside than people give him credit. Ortiz is best at mid-range. His inside game is okay, but it's nothing to celebrate about. Floyd's inside work is better for sure. Of course, there's always the chance that Ortiz will land the heavier shots. He's got power for sure; that's really his saving grace.

 

Ortiz is a mid-range pressure fighter, and Mayweather has shown he is great on the inside defensively and offensively. So Mayweather.

 

Maywaeather will push his head down, punish him to the body and blocks most of what Ortiz throws at him.

It doesn't matter where this fight takes place Mid, inside or out, Ortiz will Knock Out Mayweather if anything at least Knock him down and lets see if Mayweather can recover after a possesed beast weighing 165+ is coming at him with full speed and Power....

Let me correct you Mosely nearly knocked Mayweather DOWN not Out! HUGE difference.

Secondly Mayweather defensive abilities are not what he solely wins fights on, he out lands virtually everyone of his opponents and then doesnt get hit either!

Mayweather may be getting old but he is far more disciplined and skilled and gifted than Ortiz those things will make up for his age.

My guess is Ortiz lands very little and Mayweather punishes him....

 

I dont like to make detailed predictions on how the fights going to go. All i am saying is that Even after a long Layoff Floyd is still better than Ortiz by a very long way, And that Floyd will win the fight.

After a simialr layoff to fight Marquez (and i rate Marquez higher than i do Ortiz) Floyd dominated. I dont care about the extra 2lbs or whatever. Floyd could have come in weight drained to the JMM fight and he still would have won.

Floyd makes Ortiz look crude when being honest hes not too bad a fighter.
