I think this sh!t is going both ways its not just down to a certain fighter, i think its mainly the promoters and their ego's. Here we have 1 & 2 Current P4P, Two ATG fighting in the same weight class.......this fight needs and if it does not it is an absolute disgrace and for all those involved thanks allot for taking allot of the credibility away from the sport.

I blame floyd and his urge, I also blame bob arum for making that bull**** mosley fight so fast so there willd efinitely be no chance for a possible mayweather match up in may.

Mayweather is a dick, Margarito, Mosley, Cotto, Clottey, Hatton, Oscar, Marquez, Morales, Barrera, Diaz etc etc

Do you see these guys making unprecedented demands and asking for OSDT ?

NO! ..... these ****ers just want to fight!

Its a problem definitely, Arums unwillingness to work with either floyd or golden boy ruins a lot of potential great fights. This man is very bad for boxing, as a fan best thing that could happen is for him to die. Great fights not happening is one of the reasons why boxing ia less popular then it used to be, and bob arum is a very important person in all of this and definitely to blame.

Maybe cus Floyd retired for 2 years when Cotto / Margo / Clottey were around? Now he's been MIA since the Mosley fight. All he had to do is make a simple phone call and the Pac fight would get made.

Ur telling me Bob Arum would turn down a 100 million dollar fight with Floyd Mayweather? I don't care how much he dislikes Floyd, money comes first. The first negotiations fell apart due to ego. Now Floyd just doesn't want to fight. There's no other reason, he said it himself.

He would not turn it down but he definitely will not rush the fight, he wants to milk pac by facing him with these easy big money wins. notice how all his last fights have been vs guys that if pac lost aruum had great potential match ups planned, mosley is the same.
Floyd won´t fight and if he does its vs someone he nows for sure he can beat. That means this pattern will continue until pac shows decline, after that floyd gets interested and bob arum decides to cash out. He wont put pac in with a guy like martinez, hell no that is a big threat to the potential jackpot, its easy money first.
After mayweather pac fight it will be difficult, I see pac retiring after a win or maybe fighting some more, if floyd wins arum will dump pac or match him vs his potential stars. Its all business and very fan unfriendly. Thats why I hope he dies soon.

this argument fails when you look at arum's past

he wouldn't even promise floyd the ODLH fight (and that was a huge $ fight) because arum also hates ODLH (for many of the same reasons why he later ended up hating floyd)

anyway, arum makes more money by pimping pac out in house twice a year than he would on one fight that he has to split earnings and possibly damage his cash cow's image

3-5 years of pac vs. TR fighters (and fights made to stylistically benefit pac) > 1 fight with floyd money wise
