This is what I think ! Everyone involved in the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight is gonna earn a FORTUNE so fight will happen IMO ! Just will it be too late ? Lewis beat Tyson and everyone says yeah but he would not have beat him in his prime blah blah blah ! I think we could have a similar thing happen with Pacquaio vs Mayweather where they will get it on when they are on the decline :think

well you said it yourself, he wont turn it down. So all Floyd has to do is speak up and make it known to the public that he wants the fihgt, and it will get made. He's not shown any interest in the fight at all since the Mosley fight though.

I don't care anymore tbh. It aint gonna happen cos floyd has gone off the rails, he'll probably be remembered as a wasted talent who lurks about the top 15. There are more interesting fights out there now; donaire v montiel (winner vs agbeko) alexander v bradley (winner vs khan) haye vs wlad (winner vs vitali) and plenty more to keep boxing busy.

If it happens, great. But lets be honest now, there are question marks as to how prime floyd is any more, his legs are not what they once were. Even if it does happen, and pac does win, there will always be question marks anyways. The ideal time for the fight has already passed and no amount of threads will change that.

Yes pacman will still be critized even he wins.

Same tune. He fought a declining, over the hill fighter, or Roach "I saw your last two fights."

I'd blame Pac for not getting a security guard job. If he did that, Floyd would have fought him already. Twice by now.

I think this is a little harsh. As an alternative, how about he gets his genitals caught in a a bear trap (in a field) and is unable to move anywhere near a boxing arena or gym for the rest of his life.

Oh and the field has no reception, so he can't even ring people on his mobile (cell) phone.

In an amazing coincidence Don King does the exact same thing 20 metres away. That way they can keep each other company.

At this point I don't care if this fight gets made or not. I was a boxing fan before Mayweather and Pacquiao, and will still be a boxing fan after.

I'm sick of these two acting like prima donnas, so frankly if this doesn't get made we move on and I'll enjoy watching the next crop of boxers.

We all have to admit that both parties are to blame. I see people write that All Floyd had to do was make a phone call to Arum. Well all Arum had to do was say Floyd we agree to OSDT with no cut offs and try to get the legal **** sorted out and we give you until FEB 1 to try and get it to a point where we know you will not be in jail. Instead Arum was talking about Shane not even a week after Pac /Margarito and Shane was saying he was fighting Manny 2 weeks after Pac Margarito. They are all to blame. Hell it took 17 years for Roy Jones and Hopkins to have a rematch when they both were the number 1, and 2 p4p fighters and all they had to do was say 60 to the winner and 40 to the loser like they just did.

I wouldn't say criticised but it definitely wouldn't be as relevant as it would have been this year or early next year.

Floyd is getting on now, he is showing signs of physical decline, the perfect time for the fight has passed.

As I said, it doesn't matter anyways, boxing has enough names to carry it through
