If Mayweather SR. would have joined Roy Jones...

    Do you believe a trainer like Mayweather SR. could have turned a guy like RJJ into an even more amazing fighter ? Could he have made him the ultimate wizard of boxing in every aspects of the game ?

    Not realy. To be honest Roy's style when he was in his prime did not need fine tuned textbook boxing skills. He was so talented that he did not need them.

    No, Mayweather Sr. teaches a different type of Boxing than Roy Jones was so effective with. Roy using a defensive style with shoulder rolls just isn't him. Mayweather Sr. can obviously teach more than this, but I think their styles just would not mesh.
