Williams beat Margarito by outworking him and constantly moving ... everytime he threw his combo's ... he would pivot to the side and get out the way.

The last time I watched some of Margo/Cotto the only thing I could think of was that Cotto was hitting him at will. He wasn't hurting Margo, obviously, but anytime he let his hands go he was landing. Add Floyd's defensive prowess and he'll not only hand out the same amount of offense (albiet with less power from what I can see), but he'll take half as many shots as Cotto did.

Wide UD for Mayweather, people will complain that it was a boring fight, the hating will continue, and they'll find someone else that he has to beat.

Early on in the Cotto fight ... Cotto was ducking and slipping effectively while on the ropes and he would pivot out the way.

What hurt him and what would be the difference in fighting Mayweather would be that he not only ducks, slips, and rolls his shoulder ... he's also effective with picking off shots with his gloves and elbows.

Floyd has also been more willing to fight more on the inside ...

And I doubt that Margarito is more effective to the body than Floyd ... watch some of his past fights ... he pays close attention to his opponents body.

I wonder how a fighter is supposed to train for floyd...

like who would margarito spar with that is relatively as good as floyd is on defense and as a counter puncher?

im sure that plays a big part as far as floyd having the advantage....

    nobody has ever beaten floyd
and everyone basically does the same thing to floyd
    and it never really works

How is Margarito going to handle Mayweather combination that he throws when he throws to the body, then the head, switch sides and repeats the combination?

He did it against Gatti, Hatton, Judah, Corley, and DLH ...

or he could just pot shot all power shots like he did against Corrales ...

Mayweather by at least 10 rounds to 2. Being generous to Margarito here.

He is way too slow to put any kind of effective pressure on Mayweather. Mayweather would easily potshot him.

    Agreed

add to that Floyd never fights the same way ...

it would be easier to find a carbon copy of Margarito than it would be of Floyd. Because even if the fighter resembles Floyd in some way ... its not to the same effect as it would be fighting the actual person.

Margo is a one-dimesional fighter who can only fight one way once he realizes that his gameplan won't work on PBF then what? PBF will be the ring general in this fight and Margo will fight PBF's fight. Margo will be following PBF around the ring not cutting it off throwing his wide slow shots while PBF will counter him and move away. PBF can box 15 rounds like this.:deal There's really nothing Margo can do about it because of his plodding footwork he can't close the distance like Hatton could.

Margarito pushes Floyd all the way but loses a UD.

    Floyd 116 - 112.

    thats another point...

floyd never does fight the same way...

the guy has fought with relatively every style there is... leading, counter punching, inside, outside, on the ropes, in the center... and he switches up rhythms like 3 times per fight so its ridiculously hard to figure him out ... I just dont understand what margarito fans see that makes them think marg will t/ko floyd... i mean maybe it will happen but it is INCREDIBLY unlikely.....

plus like you said finding a another margarito isnt that hard... its not like he's technically impressive or anything....

No point to all this the fight will probably never happen anyway and if it were going to be as easy as you make it sound then im sure Mayweather would think so too and to me Im surprised why he didn't just call Margarito out after the Cotto fight to prove it, but he didn't so lets stop glamourising about a Floyd performance that we will probably never see...
