Very true. I have a feeling that the next fight will not go as planned. Pacquiao will fall flat on his face. Either he'll lose the fight in a HUGE upset (unlikely), or the fight just won't sell. He's lost a large portion of his fan base as Pacquiao fans (NOT *******s) want(ed) to see the Floyd fight and now it's become crystal clear that Manny has ducked.
The marquez fight basically erased the "illusion'' that had been created by pacquiao beating all those shot fighters. Hey Mayweather tried, Pacquiao refused, time to move on. Pacquiao is Arum and Marquez *****.
By the way I was LIVID with the outcome of Mayweather ortiz, because I wanted a more conclusive fight outcome, but at the end of the day Mayweather greatness is undeniable, not so much with Pacquiao anymore with the Marquez cloud over his head.
For the *******s, this may be the best way for this equation to come to rest. I'm sure they'd rather have the people saying he ducked Floyd, than the people saying that he got the beating of his life from Floyd. Manny would be the icing on the cake for Floyd. The guy that the media billed as the p4p king getting his ass handed to him very handily, would really make Floyd's day. I aint gonna lie...it would make mine as well but hey, can't blame them though.
Juan Manuel beat Quackiau again and killed the myth of manny's socalled improvements ! He will avoid the much talked about fourth fight withDinamita, duck Floyd and go back to handpicking easy wins to showcse his socalled skills! I for one will not be watching !
That's a very level and balanced response sandy. It doesn't really sound like you were watching with any enthusiasm in the first place... If you can't see the difference in Pacquiao from the first to second Morrales fight then there really isn't any point in dissecting it. I hope Floyd gets himself the Martinez fight and performs to his usual standard - It will make a much better statement to Top Rank and the boxing world than pissing on Pacmans HoF career and calling him gay.
Yeah, because Marquez hadn't given Pacquaio two close fights at two other weights atsch I'm sure fans were also saying Ken Norton took away the 'illusion' of Ali's great wins and his legendary career when he gave him three tough fights
