If Mayweather vs Pacquiao happened in 2010 instead of 2015 what would have been the result?

In fact, Floyd violated WADA code and in several fights had ultra low T/E ratios consistent with PED use.

He did but he also nee that he needed his converse kissed something Manny didn't want o do...until he did. To me that is a horrible look. If you don't want to kiss the Converse then don't. But instead he waited to kiss the Converse.

And I suppose you think Floyd was prime.

I always thought at the time that 09/10 Pac was too much for Floyd, but I'm not so sure abut that now

I think there are strong arguments for both camps - Floyd always found a way.

But Manny back then was an offensive force of nature.

Personally I think it says a lot about Floyd that he didn't fight Pac in 2010 but waited much later - he was the poster-boy for maximinzing his advantages, and even if he thought that he was maybe 60-40 chance of winning, that was likely just too big of a risk.

The best defence against the best offense at the time would have been something to see instead of that damp squib of a letdown that we got.

If the fight happened 10 times, i'd probably expect Floyd to win 6/7 decisions but Pac to get 3/4 big KOs - and THAT is exactly why it needed to happen then, because it WAS so uncertain & fascinating back then to see what would have actually unfolded.

Of course when they actually fought, Pac hadn't had a stoppage since Cotto SIX YEARS PRIOR, and additionally, had suffered KTFO6 by JMM only a couple of years before.

Floyd played the averages IMO, even though he was good enough to have won, Pac was just too much of a risk in 2010.

If Floyd had violated any protocols like others have done he would have been banned and disgraced, he never was because he is clean.

Floyd agreed to fight Pacquiao could not fulfil the fight conditions on drug testing. Why?

Both are counterpunchers, and Floyd is a way better counterpuncher with a better defensive skill set. That’s what I meant.

Only thing I am certain of is that it would have been a whole lot more entertaining....Floyd was more able and willing to engage in those days and it takes two to make a good fight.

Pacman would of won in my opinion. He was an absolute monster around 2010. Hence why it didn't happen in 2010.

At best Floyd was not confident enough to make it happen, at worst he didn't think he would win at the time.

Floyd and JMM are counterpunchers, but that's where the similarities end. Both apply their craft in completely different ways. For example, JMM would put a hellacious beating on Maidana and he didn't need to clinch excessively, use forearms and elbows, or duck below a fighter's ankles to avoid shots. Also, JMM takes huge risks and can go to war.

Always felt Floyd wins by decision and always felt he ducked Pac is after Cotto.
He was scared after what happened to Dlh,Hatton and Cotto.

Remember him waking up from nightmares to go run in the middle lf the night?
Floyd is the better boxer for sure but not a better fighter. He lacked balls unfortunately.
Im 100% sure if he wanted to he could have been in the ring instead of Clottey or Margarito.

Id pick mayweather slightly since he's stylistically a bad matchup for Pac but Pac was something else those days that even his bad matchups has to work their ass off to win.

I always thought what would have happened if you would have put the version of Pac from the Cotto fight against the Floyd from the Mosley fight who would win? Hmmm... I think at that point it was close enough to say that it was a 50/50 fight right down the middle. It would have been a great fight!
