I know his glove touched the canvas but if he was legitimately knocked down from a punch, would that change the way hes perceived? Its funny how some athletes are looked at as in invincible.
Judah allready knocked floyd down, it hasent changed peoples image of him. Hes also been rocked a few times but always comes back strong (and no 1 gives him credit) Until He gets roy jones'd hes image remains the same - one of the best technical nd defensive fighters ever
Not really. Especially if he gets back up from the knockdown and wins the fight. He'll gain more respect. Just like he did against Mosley (despite not being knocked down).
To be fair it was because he hada badly broken hand. As for the Judah knock down, if whoeever made the comments about it read the OP he clearly stated if they were legitimately knocked down by a punch, not knocked off balance and touching the canvas with their gloves knocked down like Hatton by Pacquiao, Judah by Zoo, etc etc As Rico said I think he'd gain more respect, people with better chins have gone down before People that disliked him would call him glass jawed, and people that like him would give him credit for getting up and (im assuming) winning
It will definitely change.. :hey JMM has been KD a lot, and we all know that he'll comeback and finish the whole 12 rounds of his fight.. :think So the way we see JMM, he will be KD in a fight but will not be Stopped.. So if Floyd gets KD, that's something unusual and that may affect the way we perceived him.. :good
