Not only that he fought several more times at 130 even wining a title after his loss to PBF. It's just a typical PBF hater excuse.
Wrong sir. Mayweather fought Oscar at 154, and Pac made oscar drain down to 147. We're talking prime welters here. And by the way.. I give Mayweather good credit for stepping up and beating Oscar in a fight where the deck was clearly stacked against Floyd in the contract. I.e. weight, ring size, glove brand, glove size, purse... etc... You may find that I'm one of the more common sense haters.
Right on to that then. Man honestly SSM is a dangerous WW and could actually win (though I doubt and don't want it to happen). It is just funny to see how the wind blew from "he is ducking" after the JMM fight to "SSM is old"! I appreciate a man who backs up his "hate" with at least stuff that is debatable. My bad for lumping you in!
If Shane looks old in this fight and any fight after, then people will rightly claim Floyd beat a old/faded/shot Mosley. If he does OK here and has a good showing or two afterward, then Floyd will get credit for beating a still good Mosley. If Mosley wins then Floyd lost to a still great version of a great fighter and one of the best at 147 and P4P, no shame in that.
Mayweather gets credit...Mosley's #1 WW alongside Pacquiao for me. Obviously some people will never give Mayweather credit...if Floyd and Manny eventually get it on, and Mayweather comes out the winner...some people will not give Mayweather credit. But thats boxing...and it happens with a lot of boxers.
yeah he will get credit. its a good fight. I think mosley still has it, im rooting for him. Go mosley!
But one week before Berto Mosley was cancelled. The same dudes picked Shane to KO Berto and some life long idiots made bets to ban themselves if Floyd grows the balls to fight Shane. Now he is fighting Shane and he is picking on an old man despite Shane being on an upswing and confident as he ever has been. If Floyd fight what you call PRIME Shane up or around the Forrest fight after Forrest kicked his ass or even after Winky kicked his ass the win would be held in a low regard b/c he was coming off an L. That **** makes a ****ing difference and always had until pacaroid came along...lol and he can just take fights with names despite the fighters being past their past, coming off of losses etc etc.
If Floyd is elusive and he can't hit him , why does Shane have to be old why can't it be cause Floyd is so good he made him miss??
lol am i seeing this right. He fought Marquez at welterweight? Who's next Chris John? Kiddin'. just breaking the ice.
im sorry but floyd complains about excuses that he never gets his just dues but what the hell has he been saying about pacs comp. fuk that mosley is 39, been out the ring fore more than a year and almost lost to mayorga, thay should call this fight the 'great deception.'
It is a lose-lose situation on Mayweather even if he wins over Shane Mosley. "Beat an old man" response is expected from the boxing fans, funny but that's how it is going to be. But yes Floyd will get credit for it. One good thing if he beats Shane will somehow bring him out from the critics radar of not facing legit WWs, at least Mosley is a good pick and start to move back on top. But on the question of how huge the credit will be, not much if he runs away with a close D. Floyd Mayweather Jr must win impressively against Mosley. All will depend on how he performs this weekend.
