    Mike though? Come on.

I think Martinez was a poor win given his condition but Alvarado? You Pac fans have to take it too far.

That's the sad part, nothing will stop Cotto-Floyd from making this fight if they wanted to at 155.
WBC will approve it, they are all about commission $$$

    Floyd is so smart.
He knows that his success upsets so many.
And those so many ---- buy tickets and PPV's.
They make him so much money.
    They eat their hearts out.
    And your right.
Some of them may be so ****ed up that they fantisize his demise.

Opponents mean more than belts these days when determining legacy. Everybody has a belt. I got a belt this morning in my corn flakes.

I never thought of it that way.

    Floyd will probably fight Khan.

I really don't understand it, Floyd would beat Pac thoroughly IMO.

It's a testament to how good Floyd Mayweather is if people are getting angry at the possibility of a rematch with Cotto at 160 lbs. some people are making Cotto out to be some kind of tomato can; he's a sure first first ballot hall of famer and the current lineal champion at MW.

I actually see Floyd beating Cotto in a much easier manner than he did in their first fight (which wasn't that competitive really.) he tends to do much better against guys if he's sees them a second time around.

If he were to fight Cotto and beat him, he'd be the first lineal champion in 3 current weight divisions since the great Henry Armstrong. I can't remember a fighter even in the early 20th century that held the MW and WW titles simultaneously (maybe SRR?)

Say what you will, but that would be an absolutely incredible feat, especially at his current age. I'd like to see him than fight pacman maybe for next November or December since that mega fight would need at least a good half year of worldwide tours/promotions.

You can't knock Floyd if he decides to go the Cotto route since it doesn't look like Arum has any interest matching pacman up with mayweather for cinco de mayo.

Why anybody would want to see Floyd beat up Cotto again is beyond me. Not like either of them weigh any more than they did last time.

If there's one thing we've learned in the last few years it's that nobody HAS to fight GGG...

Winning the WBC/Lineal Middleweight title and becomes a six division world champion wouldn't only "move him up a notch", it's going to boost him up big time.

I meant move up a notch in the aspect he'd have to fight Golovkin eventually, or would be pressured into fighting Golovkin.

So the situation would be moved up a notch as Golovkin is in his prime and a knockout puncher. He'd also have no excuse not to fight him like he does with Pacquiao.

    aahh,

This is a hard one because how ever you cut it Cotto beat the man who beat the man etc.

But in reality GGG is the absolute number one in the division and hammers Floyd , Canelo and Cotto.
