    Mayweather cherry picking again, He had already beaten Cotto @ 154 via UD.

    Now that Cotto is the "Middleweight Champion" Mayweather will grab this opportunity @ a catchweight of 155 pounds but when Martinez offered to fight Mayweather, Mayweather ducked Martinez to fight Cotto back in 2012.

    It would mean only that mayweather has got another belt but not beat the best fighter at the weight

    It would have some value because Cotto is the lineal middleweight champions. And because Mayweather started at 130.

    However, it would not have great value. Beating Golovkin (fight not happening) would be a great achievement. Beating Cotto will be good but it would be seen as Mayweather getting favoured by the context.
