    Doesn't matter. With or without Pacquiao Floyd wants to fight on May. Last time negotiations fell apart, Arum made a deal on the quickness and Floyd was assed out on that date. Also, doing this BEFORE the fight prevents some bull**** from Arum like "lets sign X fighter to fight pacquiao before the fight"

    I see it as a tug of war, 2 promotion companies battling it out to vie for power. I doubt the 5/5 date was serious but I do think Golden Boy is serious on making a fight. This was a tactic to rile Arum up, decrease PPV sales from the JMM fight and which can eventually decide on the purse split.

    All in all, I hope real negotiations go down after the JMM fight which proves (to me at least) that the Mayweather Camp tactic is working. I'm actually more excited to see what goes down after Mannys fight than Mannys fight itself.
