If Mccall Wins Should Wlad Fight Him Next????

If unification is not possible as his next fight, then yes.

 

I recall seeing Bruno crying with joy over beating McCall.

But McCall may have an iron chin, but he's only human. And a fighter with Wlad's speed, size advantage, AND power would find and surpass McCall's limit to how much punishment he can withstand..

 

Until someone does it....I will still think he aint human. Not to say it cant...but lets just say I aint betting on it or counting on it.

 

This is a match-up a lot of people would want to see.

McCall would have a puncher's chance, that's it. Most likely he'd be comprehensively taken apart and outpointed widely.

 

I agree, but anyone who can last 12 with Wlad got a chance. If it does go that long you got the chance of Wlad gassing out or tapping that the weak chin.

 

Like I said, he has a puncher's chance - and not a remote one either. I'd give it about a 20-25 percent likelihood.

Truthfully, McCall would be a TERRIBLE fight for Wlad to take, precisely for the reasons you note. If he does beat him, everybody says McCall was old; if he gets KOd, he gets written off. It's a no-win fight for Wlad.

 

I still feel he has a better chance than Iggy of beating Wlad, and just as good of a chance as Tua IMO. Wlad will be tested soon, I just hope its against a guy like Mccall or Peter.

Again, regardless of this, I still would NEVER expect Mccall to win on points. But he can get inside and HURT Wlad....

 

It wouldn't be a bad fight to see, but it seems more like a lose/lose situation for Wladimir. If he wins, McCall was old and shot. If he loses, it would be DEVESTATING to his career.

Klitchsko McCall would be a very good fight (so long as McCall isnt KOd by Gomez). I think it would be one Klitchsko fight worth watching.

 

He better put his WBC International Title on the line when he challenges for the IBF strap or else Jose may do the same that he did to Shane when he went for Cotto... In that case, a clear opportunity for the Wlad-Peter rematch opens up but I don't think Oliver would do it since he knows as well as we do that the WBC title is of higher caliber and his chances are bigger in a rematch against Maskaev or in open fireworks against Peter.
