If Mccall Wins Should Wlad Fight Him Next????

If he can't get a unification fight it would be as good as any other fight. Though I don't give McCall even "a puncher's chance". If you have watched his recent fights you know that he is really slow nowadays and his punch isn't what it used to be 10 years ago.

McCall has a less important belt but, most of all, he has the guarantee to fight for the WBC Main Championship or else Gomez wouldn't consider today's such an important fight for him, for that "right" being transmissible it is the short route to the WBC/IBF Unification that could/would not be denied...

It is totally possible for McCall to pull the upset and KO Wlad. He would have to take a serious beatdown to do it but I would laugh my ass off if he did! As much as I like Wlad (and I do a great deal) I swear that if he gets hit cleanly, he's going down. All of his power and skill goes out the window if he gets hit on the chin...which is one of the reasons why I never miss a Wlad fight!

who was the last good guy oliver mccall knocked out? you got to go down deep his resume to find a decent guy. he couldn't even knock out "touch of boring" davarryl williamson. what makes you think he will become champ again, let alone beat wlad. he is as one dimensional as it gets, slow and not very active.

 

Why would McCall want to fight Wlad, when a win should, should, garauntee him a shot at Peter?

 

Mccall knocked out Henry Awkanwande about 5-6 years ago, he knocked out Saleta 2 years ago. Oliver dont get as many chances to fight good heavywieghts, the man has one of the best chins of all time and even if you do beat him you wont get much credit because of his age.

Saleta ain't no Golota, and Henry ain't no Vitaly. If McCall fights Wlad, my money is on Wlad. I don't think it would be close. And yes... McCall would have a puncher's chance.
