I wouldn't really think of him any differently. I really don't think much about the rematch anyways, as McCall clearly wasn't ready to be walking around in society, let alone in a world Championship boxing match. However... I still never felt that McCall was a better boxer than Lewis, he just knocked him out. When you exchange punches for a living, especially in the heavyweight division, (unless your name is Marciano) you aren't always going to win. Even if you are the better boxer, it doesn't mean you can't get hit and go down. It's just the way it is. Had he beat Lewis in the rematch... I would guess that he would have went on to lose his title shortly after, and Lewis would have ended up regaining it against someone else down the line.
