Floyd already has beaten larry. Larry admitted defeat when he said he had to be younger to fight floyd.

So, do you think Floyd was justified blowing-up like he did, pw?

I don't know if I'd like to go as far as to endorse Floyd's cussing Larry out, but YES SIR....I strongly feel Larry was not gonna let up with the smart ass comments until he'd succeeded in pulling such a reaction out of Floyd.

John, Larry even tried to take cheap shots at Floyd for walking into the building in the presence of his children on this very same broadcast.

    I do.

**** Merchant. I was so glad when he did it. And there should be no apologies. This ain't golf or ****ing badminton. He just got through fighting, and was viciously attacked with a flying headbutt, and all that old, ***git-ass, drunk dickhead does is talk **** just to satisfy his own lust.

He shoulda punched that old ***git *****.

 I really can't stand Merchant. He's not even good at what he does.

I don't think merchant should be allowed to interview floyd mayweather from now on. It's clear the clash of personalities leads merchant to behave unprofessionally.

I think HBO would have Kellerman there to do the post fight interview just to make sure that there is one.

When I saw this for the very first time I knew Floyd was about to go off. Just watch his body language. You can tell he was getting annoyed. And why wouldn't he? Nobody likes being asked the same question multiple times. And when you factor in the animosity they have for each other + the negative crowd response to the replays that = FIREWORKS. I agree that Merchant was finally changing the subject but it was too little too late. As soon as he said the words "taking advantage," a switch just flipped in Floyd's head and he lost it.

Also watch the difference between Floyd's interview and Ortiz's interview. It's like night and day. While Merchant is grilling Floyd he's being ULTRA PASSIVE on his questions to Ortiz.

merchant was a respected reporter in philly back in the 60s, maybe earlier...when real men fought and werent such ****ing babies...so when a man from that generation sees world champions fighting 9 times a year and and fighting guys that were ranked in the top 10 with half the divisions.. not this joke 17 divisions, 3 belts by the wba now, its a ****ing joke and he will call out the little bitches making 15 million who cry when you say something about them...big ****ing deal

Skirting a question multiple times is not giving an answer. That why the best interviewers -- like Mike Wallace -- kept pushing. There are no embarrassing questions, only embarrassing answers

And that's why people get cussed out. I'm not sensing any embarrassment from Floyd for saying Merchant doesn't know **** about boxing. Its probably something he's wanted to say for a long time.
