Not really. He's a high-level journeyman like his dad.

No, there is nothing wrong with that. His dad was a staple on ESPN and USA in the 80's. But Jr. is small and gets hit alot. Not a good combination.

only seen the stoppage tonight. will watch the whole thing later. he needs to stay active and step up the competition. Okolie was pretty hyped before tonight, lets see what becomes of him too.

5 weeks after Bakole on 1 weeks notice, he schools and stops Ustinov. Hunter is the man right now. Michael 'The heavyweight' Hunter.

Seriously, **** off with the agenda you're pushing. Hunter just KO'd Kiladze faster than Kownacki, beat an undefeated KO artist in Bakole, and stopped a behemoth who got robbed last year against Charr, who'd been stopped once in his career by a world class fighter in Pulev, those three wins alone are almost enough to put him on even terms with AJ's resume leading into the Wlad match.

A bum, a prospect and a washed up Russian Mafia enforcer, great.

Well his dad beat a hall-of-famer (Qawi), an ex-crusierweight champ (Ocasio), TWO ex-heavyweight champs (McCall and Pinkon Thomas), the ORIGINAL Russian monster (Zolkin), solid heavyweight contenders (Jimmy Thunder, Tyrel Biggs, Buster Mathis. He lost a majortity decision to Botha, a split decision to Zolkin in the rematch, and was only stopped once, giving up 50 lbs. and 7 years to Brian Nielsen in Nielsen's hometown...in his last fight.

So yeah, I was wrong. Jr. will probably never be as good as Senior.

I don't give a **** what his dad did or didn't accomplish. You also failed to mention all of those guys had several losses at the time Mike faced them, nd he lost to most of them. Regardless, this is a different era, so the comparison is irrelevant, take your rose colored glasses off. The fact is, you're denigrating this very skilled and talented American fighter, you should be jumping on the bandwagon of, because he's looked sensational in his first 3 fights at HW, because he lost to Usyk, because you're a weasel.

Oh yeah, and I forgot, the Nielsen fight was probably a fix. You see, even as a 36 year old drug addict. 200 lb. Mike Sr. was just too tough to take chances with...

So, its okay to lose to guys with 4 and 5 losses back in your day, and are considered top shelf, but its terrible to win against guys with one or two losses now days, and you're considered a low level journeyman? Ah, okay, I got ya. You're deranged.
