If the promoter from the show last week has options on Katsidis do you think that if he fought some fights in Britain he would really catch on and bring out the fans in their masses...:yep I know he is more than likey to fight in Las Vegas next or there is chatter of a contest with Amir Khan, but on his own would he catch on...:think I personally think he would, he would be very easy to market over here...:yep
Yeah he would. I certainly go and watch him (work permitting). i think he's class and he's a top bloke to boot. Why wouldn't he. I've heard Warren has options on him :think Nice Avy :deal :yep
Warren has no options on him but he is a free agent. the fight went to purse bids so theres no way Warren got options.
I would certainly cheer the guy on. Very entertaining style, due more big fights and he seems a nice chap.
Definitely. I think the majority would soon start supporting him like he was one of our own. He's a great fighter and a likeable bloke.
Sorry Rob I meant I've heard Warren is looking to get options on him ie - Promote him for a couple of fights.
I agree, I think the spin in the interview was tailor made around getting the British fight fans behind him so he can be promoted for a couple of fights by Warren...:yep Thought you would like the avatar for some reason...:thumbsup
Yeh, he was saying that in the interview after wasn't he that he would wanted to fight in the UK. If he wasn't fighting in the East End against one of their own then I'm sure there would have been loud local Aussie support for him but I didn't see or hear one of them on Saturday. Boxers these days don't have to fight in their own country to get good audience and money, it depends on where the TV money is and how entertaining they are, so why no - match him with Olusegen to test my theory out
Kat is a piece of **** to market, all he has to do is rock up with the helmet on and away you go. British fight fans love a balls out type of fighter and Katsidis is certainly that
