Yes,but its becoming increasingly meaningless and hollow;he cant actually lose it in the ring,nor Cotto & margo win it, so whats the big deal?
Id sooner have non-linear WW champs fighting each other and other top contenders, as opposed to a linear 'champ' who wont.
People are too hung up on linear holders,but its often a free pass to stagnate the title.Fight the big boys or give it up.

 

funny thing is the same people who dont care if floyd defends or not are the same people who think Wlad needs to collect all the other belts.

 

I think that we can all agree that at this point a win over SSM is more convincing than a win over ODLH. In my eyes, SSM has more in the tank becasue of his work rate in comparison to ODLH.
