i disagree i think that cut really bothered perez/ that thing was deep man/ i think he would make the right adjustments and beat takam in a rematch/ by dec...maybe that fight with the russian dude in comma is haunting him and he didnt pull the trigger/ but i think it was that big long gash...

Carlos wins, they said he lacked experience, but he didn't get in trouble.
They said he might gas being the larger man, Perez looked like he couldn't make it the full twelve
No power, had Perez moving backwards after 5
Good defense and did enough to get back in the game

If the cut bothered him so much he could have said so when it happened and either escaped with a NC or TD win.

Takam clearly won, and would likely do so again... Perez had nothing for him on the inside, was bullied by the larger and stronger man.

perez loses much worse the 2nd time. he got so damn gifted that draw. he was beaten up in every aspect of the match.

perez is already on the downward and will be completely finished in 1/3 more fights

Not so sure he's physically the same, either. He took a hellacious amount of punishment himself and only had 2 months to recover from the Mago fight.

Takam would win, now nobody would feel obliged to gift Perez rounds. Perez has a great chin, decent power and volume, but apart from that is nothing special. I have him ranked around #18.

Heard he might fight Jennings, that would be a good fight. Could see that go either way, any news on that?

I think this is possible based on Takam not really showing confidence to fight on the inside until mid fight. From that point on he dominated.
Takam would take over where he left off, and be agressive from the opening bell.

Perez did not look good at all in that fight. He would have to improve a lot to beat Takam in a rematch. I was expecting a lot more from Perez. Don't know what to think of him.
