I like Joshua, the Joshua that fought Ruiz in the second fight looked immense, dropped the robotic stiffness, the silly draining muscles and fought a fluid fight with an excellent game plan.

He's still packing glass though.

 

I don't post like I used to 5+ years ago.
This has always puzzled me w/fight fans. Biases play a role, but why do so many fans act like a fighter has a "glass" jaw or granite?

AJ has a middling resistance to punches depending on the spot and the power of the punch. On a scale of 1-5 where 1 is glass and 5 is a rock I'd say AJ is about a 3. There are gray areas people.

 

I just disagree with you, I think he has bad punch resistance and bad recovery.

Is what it is, it's all an opinion at this point based on what we've seen.

 

He had bad recovery in Ruiz 1. In other fights he's recovered well.

And don't mind saying that if Wlad was closer to AJs age he most likely would've stopped AJ. But no shame in that.
