Suppose Tyson beat Lewis (decision or knockout), where would you rate him? Where would you rate Lewis?

if tyson came back and lowered the boom on lewis that'd easily boast him into my top 10 all timers for heavyweight it'd definitly knock fitsimmons and burns out and put the rest up a notch

    Awesome avatar.

You get a sense how hard Margarito has been training since the early days in that photo. Dude looks scary.

I currently have Tyson around 10th or so, a win over Lewis would have moved him up a place or two. So 8th or 9th. Lewis would likely have moved down one or two spots too. But given both their ages, I wouldn't have punished Lewis too much for the loss.

Tyson would be in the top 3!

He would have been the only champion to win the heavyweight title in three different decades.

Youngest champion of all time, beating the other all time great of his era.

If he would have trained properly, he could have made history all over again.

interestingly mike tyson said as a kid he only had one goal to become the oldest heavyweight champion of all time

if he beat lewis in 02 he might have had a chance at doing it

    Tyson would be at 3.

Just curious. Where would this put Holyfield?

That's a good question. I too would be curious given that someone has Tyson at 3rd on an ATG list while lossing twice to Holyfield.

Tyson KO'ing Lennox would definitely help his standing. That's a damn good scalp to have.

Not sure, I mean people all ready for the most part were thinking Tyson would win, mostly because of Rahman;s ko over Lewis in Africa.

Assuming Tyson catchs Lewis like that, would it be label as other Rahman, McCall affair? And Lewis would be out of the top 20 completely. Tyson goes up a little bit, but his loses to Holyfiled and Douglas would still hurt his standing, also winning the title from a glass jaw heavyweight which is how it WILL be view would be a foregone conclusion in historys eyes.
