If back then Tyson saved up some of his money and started his own promotion company, would it be any good? Do you think he would have top fighters under his promotion company?
If he had the right partner, right business plan, right attitude. It would be bigger than GBP But i doubt that will ever happen, Tyson is not a businessman
Well judging by the fact that he would have a Pigeon as the VP of the company , I am not so sure. Also he likes to change his stories around so the fights might get mixed up! If any fighters are goin to his stable...they better have grown their ear beards...gotta have a sturdy ear to take those maulings.
Not very good, Mike Tyson is no business man, he may be a big name, but it takes more than that to run a good promotional outfit for the long term.
I just can't see it. You wouldn't even want him as the face in the front even if he wasn't making the decisions, he's just not stable and he could flip anytime. Which is why he was so exciting in the ring mind you. But I'm pretty sure business wise he couldn't run a kool-aid stand.
Pure carnage at the pressers, the fighters would have to separate the promoters regularly, tiger maulings, prison style rapes, etc...Pure mayhem...Yeah, it could work...
he would need a great partner, cause Mike wouldnt do sh@t when it came to the actual work. His name would be his biggest contribution, but i bet it would good based on that. A lot of young fighters would love to fight under his banner I would think.
Tyson said he would never have anything to do with promoting boxing because to be a successful promoter you must lie, steal, and wrong people.
