If Mike Tyson was around today, would he be a bigger star than Floyd?

  1. If Iron Mike Tyson in his prime was around today in the social media & Internet era, would he be a bigger PPV star than Floyd Mayweather?

I find it hard to believe that Mayweather would still be the PPV king over someone like Tyson? Thoughts?

Tyson would be a bigger star if he was around in his prime. Remember the Heavyweight Division use to run boxing.

Tyson would not hold a belt in today's HW division. So no, he woudln't be bigger than Floyd. Tyson could easily go down to LHW and dominate there.

Tyson would be too small for today's heavyweight division. Check his record with big men he faced during his career.

Old school fans think that as an irrefutable fact but it never really made sense to me. We saw Tyson had very hard time against a good jab and that's what K bros do best, jab the hell out of their opponents.

Not really. Prime Tyson was good at destroying tomato cans, not much more.

He couldnt destroy Mitch Green or 22-9 James Smith.

Even a 50 y/o Vitali Klitschko would be his best opponent.

If prime Tyson was around he'd only play second fiddle to the Klitschkos

He'd get soundly beaten by Vitali, and would probably have a trilogy with Wlad, I imagine him beating Wlad in their first clash, then losing in the rematch and the third match could go either way

OH my gosh, yes. With his personality from back then? He'd have the brashness of Floyd times two PLUS he'd back it up with explosive fights.
