But I thought that Garcia wants to go to 135 for Linares.....so why not go to 135 for the winner of Linares and Lomachenko?

Do you not find it weird that he's eager to face Linares but not Lomachenko?

Why would the fight be at 140 if both men would have titles at 135, how stupid would that be.

If he says that it’s a duck, if you both have titles at 135 then the fight should be a unification.

It's the biggest fight out there for Garcia.

I think Garcia is elite but I do think Lomachenko beats him, I don't think Garcia will be successful at 147 and 140 is still going through the motions and if I'm honest unless he's fighting Prograis then I'm not really interested in him staying at 140 over the Loma fight.

I think Garcia beats prograis, prograis looks like he will struggle with people who use the jab and move and Mikey does both well.

I don’t have a clue who would win out of Mikey and Loma that’s why I wanna see it. Mikey needs to try and clean a division and so does Loma I’m tired of both these guys having one or two fights then moving up. Chase down the other champions and become undisputed that’s what will enhance their legacy.

Every time he is asked about fighting Loma for at least a year, the most recent being after his fight this past weekend.

    I think Linares stops Lomachenko.

Damn you think he stops him? That’s a bold pick. It’s not impossible but I do think it’s unlikely. The last time he stopped anyone with a name was Kevin Mitchell and that was years ago.

That Loma has to do this, and then he has to do that, and then in a few years we’ll see. I don’t know why you don’t go see for yourself.

it makes no sense to duck Loma imo.

He's a very good boxer, not some elite power monster which could cause permanent damage.

True true, he knocked down Crolla and Campbell but neither men are elusive as Loma to be fair.

I have seen what he said about that fight but none of it sounded like ducking so I’m tryna see what you thought was the ducking part.

I generally agree with you. Unless Mikey can't make 135 lb anymore, he ought to be looking for the Loma/Linares winner to cement his legacy.

However I am hesitant to call it "ducking" because Mikey also has a belt at 140 lb. If he takes the best fights at 140 lb I'd be hesitant to call him a ducker.
