Maybe nobody gives a **** about him. He's done nothing at 168 and is not the money draw that some people think, if he was, he wouldn't be fighting on FNF's. Makes zero sense how people think Kessler was afraid to fight someone as limited as Miranda when he's already dominated superior fighters and is fighting a better fighter in a rematch for a title. Kessler/Mundine 2 is definitely more evident for SMW than Kessler/Miranda. I seriously don't see why people get so hyped up on these 1 dimensional, sloppy power punchers.
Nobody gives a **** about him? Is that why Showtime and HBO for the past month have called almost every available top 10-15 SMW fighter to offer them a fight? Not one has refused due to the money. No Amsterdam, only haters like you say stupid ****. And I would still bet my left nut that you will be tuning into his next fight, no matter who it is. :yep
Now why don't he just fight Pascal? Then Miranda would have fought one fighter at 168......and make it at 168. Not 170+, and please make the weight this time. Remember last time, versus the little Banks. Miranda didn't make the contracted weight. No, come on team Miranda. Shut up and fight Jean Pascal. Lets see what happens...:smoke
And yet, he's the one who was willing to risk getting ruined while Kessler is the one who backed out. :nut
the truth is that fighters are not scared of Miranda. This guy brings nothing to the table other than a big mouth. He doesn't have any belts and he doesn't have a good record.
No doubt!! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having to call this one out all the time. People post like Miranda has lost dozens of fights, and gets that ass kicked regularly. Even if people give AA the win, the only time Miranda has been in bad trouble was ONE fight.
Boxing is a business. No one is scared of no one but everyone is trying to make the most, to find the best risk/rewards ratio. Miranda has nothing to lose, calling out guys like Kessler, Bute and Pavlik for instance. But all of them are in a situation where they can find better risk rewards ratio. Things might be more difficult for Miranda because big punchers are always perceived as bigger risk guys. If Miranda was to lend himself a title, I can guarantee you, there would be line ups of fighters waiting to fight Miranda. And you really should not say that Abraham is scared of facing Miranda when it is the IBF that is forcing him to fight Lorenzo. Not the other way around. And if you think that Abraham could drop the belt to face Miranda, then you're forgetting that ultimately AA is targetting a fight with Pavlik and that Pavlik stated that he wanted to unify the belts, not fight Abraham. So if Abraham wants to lend that fight, he needs to keep his belt.
Right, so who has he beaten? You get a good record by beating people who are good. I don't care if he hasn't lost, hasn't been in trouble, who has he beaten?
Why does Miranda get some much **** for fighting c level fighters? He wants the A level fighters but they wont fight him and its not because of the money. Plus Banks beat Ayala twice and no one gives Abraham **** for fighting bums. AA's best win was Miranda and i dont even consider that a legit win.
I hate you abraham nuthuggers or edison haters who bring this **** up. Go watch the fight, go watch the controversy, go watch edison beating abraham down, go watch edison breaking his jaw, go watch abraham running for his life, go watch the referee giving abraham break after break, and then come back and retype that **** post of yours. Just cause he won on paper, doesnt mean he won the fight. And just to drive my point all the way home, look how abraham's career turned out after fighting miranda - the ****ing guy knows hell lose against stiff opposition so he sticks with fighting bums in his hometown.
Yea what happened to the pascal fight? They were talking about that for a while then it just died out.
Maxime, Decebal, or Quebec Warrior would probably give the best answer, but from what I understood, after Pascal went tooth and nail with Omar Pittman and Miranda had Banks dangling thru the ropes lookin dead, Pascal's "People" decided he needed more time to work things out.
