Odo, it's clear you're passionate for your boxers and that is a very good thing indeed. But come on man, Miranda did stop him...for 10 minutes. AA told the Ref he did NOT want to continue. Doctor and team AA made him go on, with that serious injury:-( , and he could have been terminally hurt. Anywhere else or any other time that is obviously TKO Miranda.

This rematch will finally put this argument about their first encounter to bed. If Pantera wins on June 21, the first fight is meaningless. Nobody can put Miranda down for 'not stopping a guy with a bleeding broken...'. If he beats a healthy Abraham, he has only one real loss on his record.

No one can change or erase the past. Frazier beat Ali and then Ali beat Frazier. Does this mean that Frazier never beat Ali ? Of course not. A win can redeem one fighter, it can show that the first fight was a fluke or that a fighter has improved but you can't say that it erase a defeat that occured in the past. Simply put, because it was very controversial, people will never come to terms about the first Abraham - Miranda fight whatever happens during Abraham - Miranda II.

It's pick em fight for me...however just an idea: If Miranda does win and win in devastating fashion...Abraham gets to keep his belt, hide in Germany forever like Sturm, never fight Pavlik for unification.....
So there are alot more benefits for fans if Abraham does win at least in MW speak.....
If Miranda wins I'm sure he'll call out Godzilla and probably fight Bute as I'm sure Joe C would want nothing to do with him(Miranda could fight the whole thing with his arms down, laughing at the pitty pat champ)

And what good will that do? He'd get smashed worse than Lacy.

I disagree. I think this second fight will put to rest the arguments on the first fight. If Abraham KO's Miranda, then it is hard to argue the fact that 'If Abraham could hang in with Miranda with a broken jaw then he will destroy him at 100%'. Abraham would have proven this to be true.

If Miranda wins, it will be hard to argue the Miranda supporters that say 'he was robbed in Germany. The ref took Edison out of his gameplan and saved Abraham whenever he got hurt bad.'

The Rematch will no doubt shut up the losing side about fight #1.

I have nothing bad to say about Miranda, and if he does beat Abraham cleanly, he deserves as a great amount of respect. I do expect him to beat Abraham, but this is no gimme fight.
